To elaborate the images acquired through UAV it is necessary to use a series of highly specialized software which are called “Structure From Motion” (SFM).
Structure from Motion is a range imaging technique, which allows the reconstruction of 3D objects starting from points extrapolated from 2D images. Based on computer vision algorithms, it allows you to extract points from images through photographic parameters: focal length, sensor size, distortions and pixels.
This technique allows to obtain a 3D digital model starting from a set of images.
